Our Christmas Sanctuary 2003

Welcome

We would like to welcome you to the "Top of Virginia." If you are new to the area and are looking for a new church home, we invite you to worship with us and hope you will decide to make our church your own.

If you are visiting or just passing through, we hope your travels will be safe, and that you will feel welcome here whenever you are in this area.

We are a work in progress. Come join us in the journey. Have fun, care, share, and grow in Your spiritual journey with us.

Our Worship Service follows a traditonal outline. Music is a mix of old and new hymns, with the choir, ensembles, and soloist mixing in contemporary, country, gospel, and other styles. The sermons are biblically (lectionary) based life lessons. The style is relaxed and conversational.

Thanksgiving & Christmas Family Sponsorship
Each year we sponsor two families for the holidays. Clothing sizes and wish lists are gathered from the families so that we can try to brighten their holiday season. We invite the families to come and worship with us if they don't already have a church they call home.

The Patricia Gail Butler Scholarship Fund was established to help our youth with continuing in their education. It is named in memory of one of our members, a student who was lost in a car wreck. Currently, the church is trying to build an endowment with the interest being used to increase the amount of the scholarship aid available. If you would like to contribute, or for more information, please contact the church.
